Blizzard is releasing hotfixes more frequently in the weeks following the Dragonflight season three launch on Nov. 14. This is because the developer is aggressively balancing classes, Mythic+ dungeons, and affixes, polishing them to be in the best state possible.

Here are all the hotfixes shipped so far in Dragonflight Patch 10.2

      • Chaotic Disposition: Your Chaos damage has a 7.77 percent chance to be increased by 17 percent, occurring up to 3/7 total times.
    • Vengeance
      • Sigil of Silence base duration reduced to five seconds (was six seconds). PvP duration has not changed.

      • Cat Form energy regeneration increased by 50 percent (was 35 percent).
  • Evoker
    • Augmentation
    • Developers’ notes: The amount of utility that Augmentation Evoker brings on top of its high damage has proven to be too powerful despite recent changes. Therefore we are further reducing their damage contributions to the group in order to balance them against other specializations.
      • Ebon Might grants 6.5 percent of the Evoker’s primary stat (was eight percent).
      • Close as Clutchmates increases the effectiveness of Ebon Might and Breath of Eons by 10 percent (was 20 percent).
      • The amount of Versatility granted by Shifting Sands has been reduced by 15 percent.

  • Paladin
    • Retribution
      • All ability damage increased by three percent.
  • Priest
    • Discipline
    • Developers’ notes: Discipline healing throughput (particularly in raids) is slightly higher than we would like, given their damage and utility contributions to the group. To balance them, we’re reducing some talents that are giving a lot of power for only one talent point. The goal is to improve talent balance while also bringing them in line with other healers.
      • Divine Aegis absorption reduced to five percent of healing done (was 10 percent).
      • Inescapable Torment damage reduced by approximately 19 percent.

Nov. 10, 2023

Achievements

  • Treasures of the Emerald Dream again rewards the Forest Lord’s Antlers.

Items

  • Reduced the Spirit effect on the Imbued Frostweave Slippers by 70 percent.
    • Developers’ notes: After reviewing the performance of this effect, we’ve decided to pull it back quite a bit as to not overshadow other items to the degree that it is.
