Don’t have Mercy’s Huge Rez achievement yet? Here’s how you can get it after her rework

You can still get Mercy's "Cute" spray—but it's a different achievement now.

Mercy’s major balance changes are incoming in Overwatch—but Blizzard has adjusted more than just her kit.

Achievement hunters looking to earn Mercy’s Huge Rez achievement won’t be able to earn the spray by Resurrecting four players at once—because with her new change, she just can’t do that anymore. Mercy’s Resurrect has been pushed to her alternate ability, and it only targets one player. The radius for Resurrect is smaller, with a cooldown of 30 seconds.

Likewise, she’s not invulnerable while using the ability.

To earn the achievement when Mercy’s adjustments hit the live Overwatch server, players now have to Resurrect six players using a single life, so no dying. The reward is still the same as the original achievement—Mercy’s “Cute” spray.

Her new ultimate ability is Valkyrie, which doesn’t involve Resurrect at all, but it does wipe the Resurrect cooldown once Valkyrie is activated. Plus, it reduces the cooldown to 10 seconds after the first cast. It can’t be used to Resurrect multiple players at once, but it will help Resurrect teammates in quick succession.

Blizzard hasn’t detailed when the Mercy rework will hit Overwatch’s live server. It’s expected within a few weeks of its launch on the PTR, which was Aug. 24, but an exact time is unknown.
