Widespread changes have been made to the LCS and its competitive format after the reduction to eight teams, as well as a new format and new rules. Of particular interest; LCS officials were played on League’s live patch as opposed to a season where the metagame is locked in, with Riot hoping interest in the series rises as the game becomes more unpredictable.

Both League grand finalists will go on to book tickets to the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational, with the champion receiving direct access to the main event.
