Palworld: Best pal for Medicine Production

Lyleen

The graceful Goddess of the Harvest, Lyleen, is the best Pal for endgame Medicine production in Palworld. Lyleen is a level three Medicine production Pal with other work suitabilities, such as level four planting and level three handiwork.

While she is one of the best multi-tasking pals and can produce medicine, she may focus on other tasks before completing your orders, which isn’t ideal if you need medicine quickly. You can fix that by throwing her at the Medicine Bench producing your goods. Whenever you aren’t making Medicine, Lyleen can’t be topped as a Planter and is also a solid Gatherer. She can even aid your crafting activities.

Alternatively, you can get Lyleen Noct. That Pal works similarly to the Harvest Goddess but completely removes its level four planting. This can be helpful if you want your Pal to focus more on Medicine and Handiwork, but it’ll still get distracted by gathering tasks, and losing a level four suitability isn’t exactly an upgrade.

  • Element: Grass
  • Partner Skill: Harvest Goddess
  • Work Suitability: Planting Four, Handiwork Three, Gathering Two, Medicine Production Three
  • Possible Drops: Low Grade Medical Supplies, Bountiful Flower, Innovative Technical Manual
  • Hunger: 6/10

Best late-game Medicine Production Pals in Palworld

Felbat

Of all Pals, Felbat is theoretically the best Medicine Producer in Palworld. As it doesn’t have any other work suitabilities, this creepy bat can focus solely on Medicine Production, so you won’t have to wait longer to get medicine. But its single-minded focus on medicine is both a blessing and a curse.

Given you need a lot of Medicine for any reason, Felbat will do nothing except craft your supplies. However, that means it serves as a poor permanent resident of any base since Medicine is rarely a permanent crafting ability. Having a Pal that does nothing except make somewhat situational items isn’t amazing for a permanent endgame base.

That being said, putting a Felbat in your party and throwing it at a Medicine bench while you’re at base is a fantastic idea. This Pal is one of the few that can grant the Life Steal effect, healing you whenever you deal any damage. This is one of the very limited ways that a Pal can heal you. So, for this reason, we recommend training up a Felbat for encounters and to improve the efficiency of your Medicine production.

  • Element: Dark
  • Partner Skill: Life Steal
  • Work Suitability: Medicine Production Three
  • Possible Drops: Cloth, Small Pal Soul
  • Hunger: 5/10

Vaelet

Vaelet is a great member of any late-game base with a propensity to break bones. Similar to Lyleen, Vaelet has other work suitabilities, such as level two planting and level two gathering, so it may prioritize other tasks over medicine production. But, considering Medicine Production is currently only needed on a per-use basis, that can be a good thing.

Locking a Vaelet into a Medicine Workbench is a good idea if your bases are falling apart. But, in the meantime, Vaelet is more than capable of helping with building, food production, and transporting goods around your base. And it’s relatively easy to farm its Alpha version, a level 38 Pal in the Sealed Realm of the Guardian right below the Free Pal Alliance Tower.

  • Element: Grass
  • Partner Skill: Purification of Gaia
  • Work Suitability: Planting Two, Handiwork Two, Gathering Two, Medicine Production Three, Transporting One
  • Possible Drops: Low Grade Medical Supplies, Tomato Seeds
  • Hunger: 3/10

Best early-game Medicine Production Pals in Palworld

Lifmunk

Lifmunk is a Pal you will encounter pretty early on, which means as soon as you get your Medieval Medicine Workbench, you can craft different types of medicines. However, it’s notable for being capable of a lot more than just medicine. A small spread of Handiwork, Planting, and Gathering works wonders for a brand-new base.

Getting a squad of two Lifmunk and a Pengullet is usually enough to feed an entire 15 Pal base, so they’re definitely worth considering. And, if that wasn’t enough, Lifmunk can cut down trees while you’re away. That said, Lifmunk is a Pal you grow out of quickly. Other than its hilarious submachine gun skill, Lifmunk has no staying power.

  • Element: Grass
  • Partner Skill: Lifmunk Recoil
  • Work Suitability: Planting One, Handiwork One, Gathering One, Lumbering One, Medicine Production One
  • Possible Drops: Berry Seeds, Low Grade Medical Supplies
  • Hunger: 1/10

Bristla

Bristla and Flopie are both direct Medicine-producing upgrades over Lifmunk, available just to the north of Windswept Hills and caught around levels 15 to 20. Of the two, Bristla is slightly more focused on Medicine and has a better Partner Skill, so we like it as your next step for Medicine production.

The Thorn Princess comes with a great toolset for temporary work—Handiwork, Planting, Gathering, and Transporting—alongside your Medicine Production. For a growing base, this is fantastic. Your Bristla will be able to grow crops and bring them to a Feed Box without the aid of anyone but a single Watering Pal. The Princess’s only real issue is its massive Hunger score of five, which is quite high for a Pal of her power level.

  • Element: Grass
  • Partner Skill: Princess Gaze
  • Work Suitability: Planting One, Handiwork One, Gathering One, Medicine Production Two, Transporting One
  • Possible Drops: Wheat Seeds, Lettuce Seeds
  • Hunger: 5/10

Elizabee

The Queen Bee might be one of the best options for a Pal Trainer wanting a diverse Pal for midgame base development. Elizabee is a direct upgrade to Lifmunk and is available around level 25 in the Free Pal Alliance’s territory. This Queen comes with solid gardening skills, acceptable Handiwork, and even some limited tree-cutting ability.

Like many good Medicine Production Pals, Elizabee can craft Medicine but is great at a lot of other things. Being able to effectively take on most roles of food production is good, though she’ll need a Transporter and Waterer to be set.

  • Element: Grass
  • Partner Skill: Queen Bee Command
  • Work Suitability: Planting Two, Handiwork Two, Gathering Two, Lumbering One, Medicine Production Two
  • Possible Drops: Honey, Elizabee’s Staff
  • Hunger: 7/10
