There are lots of tabs to keep track of in Enshrouded. The environmental dangers can keep your creative side caged, so many players like to delve into modes or tools, like cheats or console commands, that can help fans focus on anything but the survival side.
I like survival games, but the building side of them piques my interest more compared to actually surviving. Base designs and pushing a game’s creative freedom to its limits can also be quite fun. Regardless of how many bases I can have in Enshrouded, it would hardly get boring for me to experiment with new designs and architecture. However, this gameplay style requires a lot of time unless you bust out cheats or console commands to get rid of the grind for materials.
Are there cheats or console commands in Enshrouded?
No, Enshrouded doesn’t have any built-in cheats or console commands. On Jan. 24, Enshrouded launched with only a classic survival mode, and the game doesn’t have mods either. This was also the case during Enshrouded’s demo stage, so it looks to be an intended decision.
To make up for the lack of cheats in Enshrouded, I’ve been focused more on leveling up fast and reaching the max level in my save. Once I max out my character, I’m hoping I’ll be able to do everything I want in the game without hesitation. Enshrouded has been a difficult title to adapt to, especially in my first hours, but I’m looking to balance the score now that I’ve got some gear and a base going.
I expect developers Keen Games to add more customizability options to Enshrouded as time goes on. Early Access feedback tends to be quite valuable for developers since it can be the first stage where players can get their hands on the game.
