Big changes to Teamfight Tactics Set 11 occurred during Inkborn Fables PBE testing that led to the official launch through Patch 14.6, from Encounters and Augments to champions and traits.
Heading into the official launch of TFT Set 11 Inkborn Fables, the devs shipped the second-to-last big PBE patch on March 12. Not every balance change within the update was ideal, according to game design director Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer, using the Augment Venerable Piggy Bank as an example. All changes that need adjusting will be done through the next major update.
The Patch 14.6 notes are a compilation of balance changes, starting from March 12 to the official launch of TFT Set 11 on March 19. Stats are subject to change and will be updated once the information becomes public. Patch 14.6 will also drop new Little Legends and Chibi Champions.
Here are the official TFT Patch 14.6 notes, according to Riot.
TFT Patch 14.6 PBE system changes
System adjustments to the champion pool and rolling chances were initially made with the launch of the Set 11 PBE and will carry over into Patch 14.6. A 1.5-second buffer was added for Armories, Augments, and other choices before interaction. This was shipped to help prevent missclicks from taking place. Odds were also adjusted at Level Seven and Eight. You’ll notice fewer Spatulas on Carousels, too.
TFT Encounter changes
There are over 80 Encounters within TFT Set 11. Updates to board visuals took place during PBE testing, along with direct balance changes to specific Encounters.

And equipping a Tactician’s Crown is now worth it as it applies 33 Health, three percent attack damage, three ability power, three percent attack speed, three armor, three magic resistance, and three mana.
Changes were applied to Support items like Needlessly Big Gem, with the gold aspect getting removed and the item becoming another version of Ascension. After 15 seconds, bonus damage will increase by 40 percent. And multiple changes were applied to Zz’Rot Portal.
- Zz’Rot Portal now spawns the Voidspawn during the planning phase
- Zz’Rot Portal is now a Unique item
- Zz’Rot Portal Voidspawn Stage Health Scaling—1000/1300/1600/2000 (Stage 2-5) adjusted to 1000/1500/2000/2500/3000 (Stage 2-6)
