Tycoon Racers is a Monopoly GO event launching for the third time on Sept 5 under the banner of Beach Racers. Competing in the race with friends can earn you a Wild Sticker, a new Token, a Purple sticker pack, dice rolls, and more. Here’s how.
Scopely’s Tycoon Racers main event had issues for its global launch, and I am happy to announce that major issues, like those with matchmaking, have been addressed and improved upon. Gather your friends to form a team, and don’t sleep on daily free dice rolls or Monopoly GO events to help you earn more dice when rolling for flags. This article is a detailed guide for how the Tycoon Racers event works and how to maximize earned rewards.
What is the Monopoly GO event, Tycoon Beach Racers?
Tycoon Racers is a team tournament in Monopoly GO. Like Partner Events, you need to team up with three other players and spend your first day of the event collecting flag tokens. The remaining days of the event are spent racing against three other teams. If you don’t have three “partner” friends at the start of the race portion, a random player is automatically assigned to you.
Before the race starts, you can leave that team and form another. Press the icon with your image within the team, and a choice to leave the team appears.
Any friend already on a team can’t be on your team, either. Send invites early to get the best friends on your Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers team.
How are team matches chosen in Monopoly GO Tycoon Beach Racers?
All team matches are based on skill levels, including inventory like dice rolls and cash. Matches in Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers are not completely random. The teams you race against are similar to opponents on a leaderboard.
How does Tycoon Beach Racers work in Monopoly GO?
Your team’s goal is to use the flag tokens collected to roll three special event dice within a popper. Activating the Tycoon Racers dice popper requires a minimum of 20 Flags, which gets you one roll. You can use a multiplier of up to 20x on a popper roll. Dice rolls are turned into points, which move your race car around the track. Positioning within a race is determined by the value of your dice roll within the popper.
Whichever team has completed the most laps and is in the lead wins the race, earning you Medals that can eventually unlock the grand prize rewards. Your final goal is to have more laps and points than the other teams to secure better rewards.
The final of the three Tycoon Racers Monopoly GO races is the most important. Winning the last race earns you double Medals. Having the most Medals at the end of Tycoon Racers earns you the grand prize.
How do Monopoly GO Tycoon Beach Racers Medals work?
Completing a race within the Monopoly GO Tycoon Racers event earns you and your team Medals. The third and final race awards Double Medals. The team with the most Medals at the end of the Tycoon Racers Monopoly GO event wins the championship and earns the grand prize reward.

What are the Monopoly GO Tycoon Beach Racers rewards?
Tycoon Racers lap rewards offer bonus items, much like solo and tournament events, through lap reward milestones. No list of milestones and rewards is available at the time of writing, but we do know the rewards include dice rolls, flag tokens, event cash, regular cash, and sticker packs from lap rewards. Much like rewards from milestones, lap rewards progressively get harder to hit, a creeping difficulty offset by the fact that the rewards get bigger and better.
The major difference between regular Monopoly GO rewards and Tycoon Racers lap rewards is you’re offered a choice between one of two rewards. Choose flag tokens unless dice rolls are more of a priority. If a Purple sticker pack is offered, and you’re missing only a few stickers to complete an album, picking the pack might be a better option than dice and flags.
What are the Monopoly GO Tycoon Beach Racers grand prize rewards?
We know the end-of-race rewards offered from the global launch of Tycoon Racers. But don’t expect them to be identical for the Sept. 5 Monopoly GO event.
