Prop Hunt is Call of Duty’s version of the hide-and-seek game mode from Garry’s Mod. The game mode has been added to the Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer playlist on several occasions. This time, it’ll be available for the longest duration yet.

Modern Warfare Remastered players will get to enjoy Prop Hunt from July 28 to Aug. 4—marking the first time that Prop Hunt has been available for a full week. Prop Hunt was first introduced to MWR on March 30, and after much success, it returned on April 28 and on May 26 for Memorial Day weekend.

If you haven’t been able to play Prop Hunt yet, this game mode consists of two teams who battle it out across four rounds. One team hides throughout the map as random props, while the other team has to find and kill these objects within the four-minute round.

The seeking team must wait in their base with a blacked-out screen for 30 seconds at the start of each round while the prop team tries to find the best hiding spots possible. These props can change their appearance a maximum of two times, and are able hit the seekers with a flashbang if their cover is blown.

The prop team wins the round if at least one player survives all four minutes, but the seekers are victorious if they eliminate all of the hiding objects. Prop Hunt is played until one team wins three rounds, or until both squads have played as the hiders and seekers twice.

This game mode has easily been one of the most exciting additions to the Call of Duty franchise, and players are thrilled to get the chance to play Prop Hunt once again when it returns to the MWR servers at 1pm ET on Friday, July 28.
