Although there are plenty of powerful weapons to pick from, the Paw Print Poisoner is a useful item you can equip during your skirmishes with the Primordians since it leaves a poison trail behind the champion as they run around the map. It’s a great way to thin out massive numbers of enemies or weaken hordes while you reposition for a better fight.

This weapon also fully upgrades to the Bearfoot Chem-Dispenser, which activates a new passive for the item where damaging enemies grants a stacking shield and bonus movement speed, which is a perfect addition for champions who need to keep moving.

If you’re trying to grab some new shoes for the fight, here is how to unlock the Paw Print Poisoner in League‘s new Swarm mode.

To unlock the Paw Print Poisoner in League’s Swarm mode, you’ll have to play through the first few maps since there are a few different goals you must hit and champions to unlock. Here are all of the requirements you need to hit to finally unlock the Paw Print Poisoner so you can find it in your next games:

  • Unlock Hard mode by beating the first four maps on the original difficulty setting.
  • Unlock Riven by beating the Rek’Sai boss on the Warehouse map on Hard mode.
  • Unlock Paw Print Poisoner by reaching level 35 with Riven.

You should be able to unlock a ton of other items and champions while you set off on your quest, but ultimately, this item relies on your grinding through the story mode. With a full squad, it shouldn’t be too hard to beat the four maps on the regular difficulty—as long as you have the right team composition—but Rek’Sai could pose a bit of a challenge for you if you haven’t upgraded your passives enough.
