The mysterious world of Once Human keeps players on their toes with gritty “Public Crisis Events” that reward handsomely upon participation. The Cargo Scramble event is one such challenge, available in both PvE and PvP modes. Since you are here, chances are you are wondering how Cargo Scramble works in Once Human—and we are here to answer all your queries about that.

How to start the Cargo Scramble event in Once Human

To activate an ongoing Cargo Scramble event in Once Human, you need to completely destroy the truck that spawns in its location. You can see the location of the event marked as a red truck icon on your map.

The truck at the Cargo Scramble event keeps moving until you destroy it. When you are at the location, keep damaging the truck with your guns or explosives until it stops moving.

Once the truck is destroyed, you’ll see several black jelly blobs spawn near it. Approaching any of these black Seeds of Life assigns a jelly blob to your head, thus starting an Infection Countdown timer. Now, take down as many players with jelly blobs on their heads as you can to maximize the rewards you earn.

Cargo Scrambles are random events, so it’s impossible to predict when a truck appears in your world. I suggest checking your map every once in a while to avoid missing out on the truck when it spawns. While the map is open, you can also press X to bring up a list of all world events happening or are about to happen, which should help you keep track of everything easily.

The more hosts you kill, the more Sproutlets you earn. After the event ends, you can collect further rewards in the form of Sproutlets and other materials like Acid. Leave the area to end the event.

Sproutlets are a special currency in Once Human you can exchange for rare items like weapon mods and vehicle skins at Nisa’s shop. Nisa is an NPC found in safe hubs like Meyer’s Market and Tall Grass Inn. Dressed in pink with a pink jelly blob on her head, she is quite easy to spot.
