This year’s Dota 2 Battle Level and Immortal Treasure bundle has arrived, just in time to celebrate the end of the regional qualifiers for The International 8.

Much like what Valve put out for last year’s International Battle Pass, the bundle in question contains additional Battle Pass levels at a heavily discounted price. For $24.99, those who purchase the bundle will receive 100 Battle Pass levels, and seven pieces each of the two Immortal treasures received so far. The promo will last from June 28 to July 2.

Outside of the promo, a pack of 75 Battle Pass levels is normally priced at $36.99—and does not include any Immortal treasures. This places the value of the whole bundle at 75 percent less than the combined value of the levels and the treasures—after computing the number of levels required to get that many treasures in the first place.

Unlike last year’s bundle, however, this year’s pack is limited to a single purchase per account. As usual, 25 percent of the proceeds from the bundle will go straight to the TI8 prize pool.

Ever since the promo itself went live, the prize pool has jumped up from $15.8 million to $17.2 million as of the time of writing. Despite the significant increase in the pot, though, TI8 is still 10 percent behind the TI7 prize pool, at the same point in time last year according to the prize tracker developed by Team Secret manager and popular personality Matthew “Cyborgmatt” Bailey.

Considering that this year’s bundle is limited to a single purchase per account, though, Valve might find it difficult to replicate or exceed the success of the TI7 Battle Pass in terms of sales and the amount of money contributed to the prize pool at this rate. But knowing the publisher’s tendencies, this promo might not be the only one of its kind forthcoming—so there may be hope yet for another record-breaking iteration of The International.
