On Aug. 1, The Pokémon Company released new information regarding the World Championships, including a sneak peek at the upcoming TCG Pocket game, a fantasy team contest, and freebies to earn. When it comes to distributions and drops, the company promised rewards in Pokémon Go, Scarlet and Violet, TCG Live, and UNITE, so there should be something for everyone.

TCG Live players can claim a special illustration rare Pecharunt ex card with a password that’ll be announced during Worlds. The mythical pink mochi Pokémon, of course, made its debut in the Scarlet and Violet DLC epilogue, and now it’s being featured in some awesome-yet-chilling TCG art.

Similarly, Scarlet and Violet players will need to be on the lookout for a Mystery Gift code to receive the Sylveon used by the 2023 senior division world champion, Tomoya Ogawa. It’s unclear why we aren’t receiving a Pokémon from Shohei Kimura’s Worlds-winning team in the masters division, but Sylveon makes for a cute and fun Mystery Gift nonetheless.

In addition to the passwords for the Pecharunt ex card and Ogawa’s Sylveon, there will also be Twitch Drops for Pokémon Go, TCG Live, and UNITE. That means you’ll have to tune into the streams on Twitch and watch the events as they happen to earn those exclusive drops. Based on the promotional image, it looks like Pokémon Go’s drop will revolve around Sableye.

Pokémon Worlds begins Aug. 16, so be sure to take advantage and claim all the rewards while they’re around.
