Mother’s Gifts are a new collectible in Diablo 4‘s Season of the Infernal Hordes and are used to unlock some great rewards, so read on if you want to know how to gather them and for our farming tips.
Diablo 4‘s latest season floods the title with fresh seasonal content, ensuring the game doesn’t go stale before the highly-anticipated Vessel of Hatred DLC release in October, and there are some new mechanics to get used to.
The Rising Hells quest re-occurs several times when working through the seasonal questline, but it can be completed fairly easily. We’ve got a full breakdown below.
How to gather Mother’s Gifts in The Rising Hells
Mother’s Gifts in Diablo 4 drop from elite or higher-level enemies. Defeating any elite enemy provides Mother’s Gifts as a drop, with the number increasing based on the enemy’s difficulty.
To farm Mother’s Gifts, the best approach is to push through to reach World Tier 3. Elite enemies appear more regularly and provide some of the best drops in the game. Because of this, advancing to World Tier 3 should be a priority.
In World Tier 3, I recommend focusing on Helltides as this provides a large number of Mother Gifts. Elite enemies spawn more regularly in Helltides, and you can also pair up with other players to defeat Helltide bosses, providing even more Mother’s Gifts.
The best boss to focus on is the Blood Maiden. To summon her, collect three Baneful Hearts by opening chests or defeating Hellborne enemies. Find the Accursed Ritual event site and deposit the Baneful Hearts to begin the summoning process.
You don’t need to gather all of the hearts yourself and can join other players in depositing the hearts they have collected. If you stick near the event location, the Blood Maiden boss fight will likely be triggered regularly—helping you to surge through collecting Mother’s Gifts.
