The Monopoly GO Tycoon Academy event kicks off following the completion of the Rocket Partners event, showcasing 50 milestone rewards and a potential teaser of the next main event.

The Monopoly GO Tycoon Academy event runs from Aug. 20 to 23. Early data mined rewards have Flags as rewards within the event, although Scopely has yet to announce what the next main event will actually be. For now, the Flags have been replaced with cash rewards and will be updated should any changes occur while the event is actively running. Despite no main event at time of writing, I recommend playing for Tycoon Academy rewards, as the event features an objective of Chance, Tax, and Electric Company Monopoly GO tiles. The Solo event also features a new Token through milestone 17.

Monopoly GO Tycoon Academy rewards explained

Finishing the Monopoly GO Tycoon Academy event will earn you 17,755 Dice rolls while potentially costing around 10,000 to 15,000, providing a net gain of around 3,000 Dice. Two Blue and Purple Sticker packs are also available. And try to time the milestone 46 Mega Heist with the Leaderboard event for that day.

An abundance of cash rewards is listed within the Tycoon Academy rewards because a new Tycoon Racers main event may drop while the event is running. If this happens, all cash rewards become Flags. This isn’t a guarantee, though, so choose your strategy wisely.

The Tycoon Academy rewards also feature a new Monopoly GO token through milestone 17, which I recommend working toward until we know more information about the Tycoon Racers event. I think the racing main event will start on Aug. 22, which could impact the number of Flags available if you’ve unlocked more than half the milestone rewards within Tycoon Academy. Based on the early data, I feel confident the Tycon Racers event won’t drop anytime before Aug. 21.

How do Tycoon Academy points work in Monopoly GO?

Every event in Monopoly GO has tiles you need to land on to earn milestone points, called objectives. The objective for Tycoon Academy is to land on Chance, Tax, and Electric Company tiles. Here is the point breakdown for landing on those Monopoly GO tiles.

  • Chance tile: Two points
  • Tax tiles (Income and Luxury): Three points
  • Electric Company: Two points

To increase the number of points you earn, roll the Dice at a higher multiplier and take advantage of any High Roller flash events.

Any changes to the Monopoly GO Tycoon Academy rewards will be addressed immediately as I confirm the early data once the event goes live.
