We’ve seen from the roaring success of Fallout, the Prime Video adaption of the Fallout gaming franchise, and Arcane, the League of Legends animation on Netflix, so it’s no surprise more and more streamers are turning to huge gaming franchises that seem to be landing well among gamers and mainstream enthusiasts alike. The hope now is that Secret Level can enjoy similar success when it releases later this year.
Given it’s from Blur, the ingenious creators behind Love, Death, and Robots—an animated science fiction, fantasy, and horror Netflix anthology with an 8.4 rating on IMDb—it should.
We have yet to receive exact details on each episode and their respective stories, and whether they’re canon or not. Either way though, it’s another step in bringing gaming worlds and franchises into the mainstream streaming community.
Even if the episodes aren’t canon, there’s already some incredible stories teed up, not least things like God of War, Dungeons & Dragons, and The Outer Worlds.
