To claim DLC items in Black Myth: Wukong, you first need to finish the opening section that takes place above the clouds. Shortly after, you awaken in a forest. Proceed through the forest until you reach the first ShrineWukong’s version of Dark Souls bonfires.

Interact with the shrine, and you’ll see an option called Trailblazer’s Gift.

Hold E on PC, A on an Xbox controller, or X on a PlayStation controller to claim the items. You don’t need to claim them separately because they’re all added to your inventory at once. When you claim the Trailblazer’s Gift, you get the following:

  • Bronze Cloud Staff
  • Folk Opera Mask
  • Folk Opera Almsgiving Armor
  • Folk Opera Leather Braces
  • Folk Opera Buskins
  • Wind Chime Curio – Increases movement speed
  • Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd – Has one extra charge

The Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd is an exclusive pre-order bonus in the early game, but according to Game Science, you can get it later if you didn’t pre-order.

On top of this, the Bronze Cloud Staff deals 10 percent more damage than your starting Willow Wood Staff and gives you an extra two percent Crit Chance, while the armor gives you significantly more Defense. If you struggled in the early game, you won’t be anymore.
