To celebrate the launch of season one in The First Descendant, Nexon launched the Descendant’s Daily Tasks event. This event allows you to earn Gold, materials, and even a few Crystallization Catalyst Blueprints.

The Descendant’s Daily Tasks include daily and limited-time missions. Daily missions are available every day and reset at 2am CT. Limited-time missions are available once per account during the event.
Here are all the daily missions and their rewards:
- Complete four regional missions on any difficulty: 1,000,000 Gold.
- Complete two Void Intercept Battles on any difficulty: Murky Energy Residue (three), Macromolecule Biogel (eight), Mixed Energy Residue (three), Advanced Neural Circuit (six).
- Complete one research: One five-hour 30 percent EXP boost.
- Complete one Infiltration Operation on any difficulty: 100,000 Kuiper Shards.
Here are all the limited-time missions and their rewards:
- Complete five Void Intercept Battles on any difficulty: One Crystallization Catalyst Blueprint and 1,000,000 Gold.
- Own three or more Descendants: Two Crystallization Catalyst Blueprints and 2,000,000 Gold.
- Complete 20 regional missions on Hard difficulty: One-day 30 percent EXP boost and 3,000,000, Gold.
The Descendant’s Daily Tasks event lasts from season one‘s launch on Aug. 29 until Sept. 9 at 2am CT, so make sure to log in and grab the free Crystallization Catalyst Blueprints at the very least.
How to claim event rewards in The First Descendant
The rewards for all the aforementioned missions arrive through the Mailbox. Once you complete the challenge, head to Albion and claim them from the corresponding message. Even if the Mailbox marker isn’t blinking yellow, your rewards might still be there.
