Astro Bot – How to make a tough guy drop all his items

It's not what you think!

I know what you’re thinking. The word “Dragon” implies a certain purple dragon when trying to get this Astro Bot trophy, and I can picture you hitting Spyro and trying to get him to follow you, but you’re barking up the wrong tree.

Some of Astro Bot‘s trophies have driven me up the wall. The odd few are worded so ambiguously you’re left wondering where you’re going wrong. Again, you’d think Spyro is sure to be involved in this trophy, and if you’ve found Sam Bridges from Death Stranding, he’s also a tough guy carrying a ton of stuff.

I hate to destroy your dreams though, the Deep-Pocket Dragon trophy has nothing to do with either of them—let me explain.

How to complete the Deep-Pocket Dragon trophy in Astro Bot

You need to rescue the Kazuma Kiryu VIP Bot in Astro Bot. Once you have, go to the Crash Site hub, approach him, and keep hitting him to make him drop a variety of objects and miscellaneous utensils. Once he’s dropped enough items, the trophy should pop up.

Yes, the once-fearsome member of the Yakuza needs to be treated like a robotic punching bag to obtain Deep-Pocket Dragon and contribute to the trophy list.

Check out our quick video of what this looks like in action.

If you haven’t found Kazuma Kiryu yet, don’t worry, we have a mini-guide on what you need to do.

How to find Kazuma Kiryu in Astro Bot

Kazuma Kiryu is a VIP Bot you need to rescue from the Boing! Bonanza level in the Camo Cosmos world hub—technically the fourth of the five main worlds.

Check out these instructions to rescue the Yakuza legend:

  1. In Camo Cosmos, you need to use your ship in the world’s hub to destroy an asteroid in the bottom corner of the area.
  2. Fly around the shapes and wait for the Lost Square Void to appear.
  3. Complete the level, and it spawns several new levels—including Boing! Bonanza.
  4. Begin the Boing! Bonanza level and finish it.
  5. Your prize at the end is a single VIP Bot—Kazuma Kiryu.

With Kazuma in your possession, go back to the Crash Site and carry out the method in full I described earlier to get yourself a new, shiny trophy.

When you’ve done this, pick up another few trophies too: Bot Bot Revolution, Thaw, God of Thunder!, and Keep It Together!
