Which LoL champion says, ‘I’m the rose that survived the desert’?

Every rose has its thorns.

When it comes to LoLdle quotes, you can never really be prepared (unless you play every single League of Legends champion and know a little about them all). Today’s tricky LoLdle quote definitely requires some expansive Runeterra knowledge.

Luckily, if you’re an AD carry player, the Sept. 9 LoLdle quote will be easy to solve. Not everyone is though, which is why I’ve got the answer to the riddle below.

Who says, “I’m the rose that survived the desert.” in LoL?

The LoLdle quote on Sept.9 is, “I’m the rose that survived the desert.” The League champion who says this line is Samira.

I immediately knew who spoke today’s LoLdle quote because of two keywords in the voiceline: Desert and rose. While many champs in League call Shurima home, Samira’s the only one who gets called a desert rose, despite the fact she lived most of her life in Noxus.

I don’t play ADCs (unless it’s Ashe or Senna), but I know a little about most of the champs in the bot lane because I have to work alongside them as a support. This is how I knew about Samira’s nickname—the Desert Rose. What I didn’t know, though, is this particular voice line is one of the ones she says while she’s moving. Unfortunately for Samira, this isn’t often.

This is because in League Patch 14.17, she has a pretty awful win rate of 48.81 percent and is considered a D-tier champion, according to the League stat tracking website U.GG. So, while she looks cool and has an epic back story, she just doesn’t have what it takes to compete against the current metagame AD carries like Jhin and Miss Fortune.
