When exploring the several missions in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, there’s a good chance you can encounter a Dataslate hidden in the mission. These Dataslates are collectibles you can gather, and they provide further context to what’s happening in the world during these critical missions.

You can find a handful of Dataslates during each mission in Space Marine 2. Unlike the Armory Data skulls you can find in the Operations, the Dataslates do not provide a unique benefit that you can unlock. But for anyone wanting to learn more about the Warhammer 40K universe, these should be a top priority if you don’t have them all. Here’s what you need to know about how to find all Dataslates in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2.

Where to find all Dataslates in Space Marine 2

There are 35 Dataslates you can find in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. These are hidden in the main story quests and the operations. Many of the operations won’t unlock until you make your way through the main story, though. We’ll cover the main story quests first and then where you can find the Dataslates in the Operation missions, which you can do with up to two other friends.

All Skyfire Dataslate locations in Space Marine 2

These are all the Dataslates you can find during the Skyfire mission in Space Marine 2.

Stormtalon Crash	The first Dataslate appears shortly after you enter the jungle. After the first weapon loadout drop, look for a pathway covered in red flowers. Destroy the flowers and go through here to find the Dataslate next to several weapons.
Admission of Desertion	The second Dataslate appears shortly after you first see the orbital guns. Look for a broken bridge. Head to the other side of the bridge and then drop off a ledge on the right side. The Dataslate should appear on the ground.
Anti-Tyranid Offensive	The next Dataslate is inside the bunker. You can find it shortly after you go through the first door. Rather than going right, go straight ahead and up the stairs. The Dataslate is on the ground, next to a combat knife.
Desired Purgation of Data	The final Dataslate won’t appear until you reach the end of the mission. Before you head up the elevator to repair the targeting system, take a right and go around the elevator. It’ll be on the ground.

All Severance Dataslate locations in Space Marine 2

These are all the Dataslates you can find during the Severance mission in Space Marine 2.

Conflict	The first Dataslate appears after you arrive at the decimated camp. You’ll go up a small hill, but rather than follow the main objective, turn around and follow the secondary path. There should be a crashed shuttle there. Behind the shuttle is the Dataslate and a Bolt Sniper Rifle.
Tyranid Attack	The second Dataslate appears after the Lictor encounter. When you enter the facility, proceed forward into a small alcove rather than gathering at the elevator. You can find the Dataslate on the ground on the right side of this area.
Lamentation for Sacred Machines	After restoring power and heading up the elevator, follow the pathway until you activate a console. You’ll need to fight through a large wave of enemies and then go through the door where they came from. Take a right in here and proceed on the path to find the Dataslate in front of a large fan. This path is the opposite of the main one and is easily missed.
Summary, Tyranid Invasion	After the Thunderhawk crashes and you receive the Jumpack, the final Dataslate appears in the jungle. Before you venture too far into the last part of the mission when you have to enter a cave, look to the upper left. There should be a cliff you can reach using your Jump Pack, and it should have the Dataslate on the ground.

When you reach the level below you and go through the vents, an outline of a Lictor appears in a shadow that you must follow. Instead of following it, turn to the right and walk down the hallway. The Dataslate is on a crate.
Improper Command	After clearing the destroyed hanger and going through the locked door, continue forward through the hallway rather than take a left. The next Dataslate is on the right.

Tomb Excavation, Analog Backup Log 8.6	The second Dataslate appears shortly after the ship bashes into the large structure. When you finish the cutscene after this, make your way to the front of a giant statue and then follow the path to the left. Make your way to the bottom and the Dataslate is on the ground around the corner.
Tomb Excavation, Analog Backup Log 8.7	The third Dataslate is in the Tomb, where you see Imurah’s phantom. To the phantom’s left, make your way to the edge of the stone platform, where the Dataslate is on the ground next to a Heavy Bolt Rifle.
Tomb Excavation, Analog Backup 9.9	The final Dataslate appears close to the end of the mission. Look for the large, blue Chaos crystals sticking out of the ground. When the Ultramarines comment about how the machines should have been destroyed, look to the workshop on the right. There’s a Dataslate on the table.

Burial, Adeptus Astartes, Salamander Chapter	On your way to find the 2nd Company standard in the tomb, there’s a Dataslate on the far left of the room. You want to go forward rather than take a right, which will be in the left corner.
Amount of Deceased on Demerium	The final Dataslate shows up as you advance toward the Obelisk. When you move through the second doorway covered in Chaos, look to the right, where you’ll find a partially destroyed hallway. Turn the corner and the Dataslate is on the ground.

Creation of Daemon Host, II	The final Dataslate in this mission is close to the end. When you reach the bottom of the elevator, before fighting the Daemon Host, there’s a Dataslate on the table to the right of the elevator. If you advance, you can miss this Dataslate.

Unauthorized Override Attempt	The first Dataslate appears shortly after you raise the crane from the blocked passage. After dropping down, instead of proceeding forward, go behind the crane entrance, and the Dataslate is in the back of the room with the loadout drop.
Status: Battle Barge, Sword of Atreus	The second and final Dataslate appears as you’re up the ramp to the Mechanicus Compound. Before you reach the top, take the final left, and there should be a Dataslate near a pile of ammunition.
