With so many unique villagers wandering around the valley, figuring out who this task is referencing can be quite tough. If you’re stumped by this one, here’s how to chat with a princess and restaurateur in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

There are lots of skilled villagers around the valley, but the only character who is both a princess and restaurateur is Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. This means she’s the character you need to chat with for this Dapper Delights Star Path task.

In addition to needing to know Tiana well to know this clue references her, the wording of this task can also make it quite tricky. You might read this task as two separate characters, which could lead you to talk to Remy for the restaurateur part and any princess like Elsa, Mulan, or Ariel for the princess part.

The key word here is the “and” in between princess and restaurateur, which is why you need to chat with Tiana. She’s the only character who fulfills both roles, with her impressive cooking skills, restaurant, and Tiana’s Meal Stall. So as long as you unlock Tiana, completing this task is easy enough.

Chat with a princess and restaurateur in Disney Dreamlight Valley guide

To complete the chat with a princess and restaurateur task, you need to have two daily discussions with Tiana. All valley villagers only have one discussion available each day, so finishing this task takes a minimum of two days to complete. You get to claim 15 Lily Pad Tokens for finishing this duty.

Chatting with villagers is fairly easy, although tracking them down can be tough. You can always find her right away by visiting Tiana’s Palace so she teleports inside to help you. If you don’t want to venture to this location, just check your map for her icon and make your way over to her. At all times, she’s either wandering the valley, visiting Scrooge McDuck’s shop, or tending to customers in her restaurant, which means there are only three spots to check.

Although you can technically try to time travel to finish this duty faster, that’s usually fairly game-breaking, especially for time-locked content like this. It can be frustrating having to wait a day to finish this task, but there are plenty of other quests you can work on around the valley while you wait.

Some other Dapper Delights Star Path duties worth working on while you wait to have your next daily chat with Tiana are bringing an elemental force of nature her favorites, harvesting fruit from pink trees, and becoming a five-star chef. If you’re already done with the entire Star Path event, you might work on the End of Summer event instead or tackle some valley quests like Dreamlight Gastronomy, Jafar’s Laboratory, and The Lesser Evil.
