CS:GO training platform Boomeo is only two months old, but it’s already announced another in a series of major partnerships: reigning CS:GO champions Astralis. Boomeo was launched by no less than WME | IMG, one of the world’s biggest talent agencies. Several organizations joined forces with Boomeo early on, including Cloud9, compLexity, CLG, G2 Esports, and SK Gaming. Additionally, Boomeo presented players and personalities such as Spencer “Hiko” Martin, Eric “Adren” Hoag and analyst Duncan “Thorin” Shields as testimonials and content contributors. Astralis will not only promote Boomeo’s training services but also create unique content for the website themselves. As part of the relationship (facilitated by Astralis’ agency RFRSH Entertainment), Astralis will also use Boomeo servers and game modes for practice and preparation. Boomeo offers mods such as Duels, Pre-Fire, Deathmatch, and Retakes to specifically train certain situations. Boomeo offers a free two-days-trial, which proceeds into a monthly subscription at $9.99. Unlike some of its competitors, the platform doesn’t include a betting option. Premium users are also set to receive the ability to track statistics and leaderboards. The platform’s latest addition, Pre-Fire, will teach users one of the fundamentals of high-level CS:GO, firing at common spots preemptively.
