Adrian “Adrian” Ma will be Team Liquid’s starting support for week eight of the NA LCS, according to a tweet by Steve Arhancet, Team Liquid’s co-CEO.
After an abrupt departure from Phoenix1, Adrian immediately joined Team Liquid, barely making the trade deadline of March 7. Despite joining the team almost a week ago, Adrian only recently moved into the Team Liquid compound, and has just begun scrimming with the team.
Matthew “Matt” Elento, Team Liquid’s other support, will be sitting out this week, and taking on the role of a positional coaching. Matt has been at the center of criticism towards Team Liquid ever since Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer left the starting lineup just over two weeks ago. Matt has been on Team Liquid’s starting roster for over a year, joining at the start of the 2016 season.
Adrian will be supporting Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, who made his return to the LCS only a week ago. It is unknown if Team Liquid intends to make Adrian their full-time starting support.
Adrian will make his debut as a member of Team Liquid on Friday, when the team plays against Dignitas.
