The relegation tournament matched the top 4 teams from the Challenge Division with the bottom 4 from the Pro Division. All but 1 Pro Division team (Pulse) retained their spot. Pulse had a poor showing in Stage 1, failing to win a single match. In their place will be Exertus eSports. Last week in Australia, all relegated retained their spots except for Exile5, who also did not win a match in Stage 1.

#1 (Challenge) Exertus DEF #4 (Pro) Pulse (4-1)

#3 (Pro) Team LDLC DEF #2 (Challenge) Rampage Temp (4-3)

#2 (Pro) Giants DEF #3 (Challenge) fabE (4-1)

#1 (Pro) Vitality DEF #4 (Challenge) Supremacy (4-3)

The playoffs saw a few very exciting matchups. To begin the tournament, Splyce took on exceL, a team they had been evenly matched with throughout the season. To no one’s surprise, the match went back and forth, going all the way to the last map round 11. Splyce managed to take the win and eventually found themselves in the finals after defeating top-ranked Infused in another map 7 thriller. However, Millenium spoiled their run and took 1st place.

#4 Splyce DEF #5 exceL (4-3)

#3 Epsilon DEF #6 TCM Gaming (4-1)

#4 Splyce DEF #1 Infused (4-3)

#2 Millenium DEF #3 Epsilon (4-0)

#2 Millenium DEF #4 Splyce (4-1)

Congratulations to Millenium for becoming the first European Call of Duty World League Champions! Next up is the North American Stage 1 Finals. Tune in at twitch.tv/callofduty.
