ESWC 2016 will offer a $50,000 prize pool on top of the Challenge Points amateur players can earn by competing. Challenge Points are accumulated throughout the year at Challenge Division events. At the end of Stage 1 of the Call of Duty World League Pro Division, teams with the most Challenge Points will be invited to a relegation tournament for the chance to qualify for Stage 2 of the league. Points will also be used to determine which teams are invited for the Call of Duty Championship qualifier at the end of the year. More information can be found here.

Last year, ESWC was one of the most enjoyable events for spectators. Call of Duty fans packed Zenith of Paris, a large indoor arena, and filled the air with constant cheering. Fans watching from home should expect no less from ESWC this year.
