Apotheon eSports made their competitive Call of Duty debut when they qualified for the Call of Duty World League (CWL) at the North American qualifier event last month. The team of Phizzurp, Fears, Legal, and Lacefield will now be playing under a different organization. The players created some drama last month when they took to Twitter with various complaints about their organization situation at the time.

In a Twitlonger posted by Apotheon eSports management, it was announced that the roster and their CWL spot was sold. It made no mention of who the buyer was, but it has been speculated that either Team SoloMid or Team Liquid were interested.

*Edit*: It has now been announced that European eSports organization, H2K, has picked up the roster. H2K is well-known for their EU LCS team. According to the team announcement, H2K first became involved in Call of Duty in 2003, but they have not been represented in recent years.

Apotheon eSports will still be represented in the Call of Duty World League, however, as they recently acquired an Australian team. The statement also mentioned that the organization is looking for new talent in North America.
