With the close of MLG World Finals and Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare coming to its competitive end, Treyarch Studios continues their 4-week saga of #BO3Fridays where they release new information for their upcoming game, Call of Duty®: Black Ops 3. On the third week of #BO3Fridays, we are presented with “The Giant” Zombies Gameplay Trailer, along with more zombies news and an unboxing of a Juggernog Edition of Black Ops 3.
Week Two’s show featured Activision Communications Manager Scott Lowe and Treyarch Campaign and Zombies Director Jason Blundell. The two hosts were very happy to provide the community with some intel two weeks prior to the release of the game.
“The Giant” Trailer
The action-packed trailer returns us to the fan-favorite Call of Duty®: Black Ops map, Der Riese. It also allows us to see the main cast of characters, Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo and Richthofen, again. Featuring the story that Zombies fans have come to love, along with Monkey Bombs, Hellhounds and Pack-A-Punch, the trailer is a must-see for anyone planning to get Black Ops 3.

Shadows of Evil
We learn about a new Zombies experience that brings a new cast of characters and story, titled “Shadows of Evil.” Shadows of Evil is a mid-1900’s film noir piece that features a burlesque dancer who aims to be a movie star, a crooked cop who takes bribes, a failed boxer who has yet to have his big break and a terrible magician who are all lead by the mysterious “Shadowman.” Even though it is a new experience, Shadows of Evil does connect to the main lore of Zombies.
Furthermore, Blundell fills us in on another new system, the Gobblegum system. Gobblegum is an experience system that rewards you with various bonuses before a round begins and build kits that allow you to customize your weapons.
Juggernog Edition Unboxing
The Juggernog Edition of Black Ops 3 is for the biggest zombies fans. Coming with special artwork of Shadows of Evil, a steelbook case, nine collector’s cards for the Specialists, four zombies-themed coasters, a Juggernog-themed mini-fridge and Collector’s Edition item vouchers for Nuketown, “The Giant” zombies map and three Personalization Packs.
