In addition to those documented additions, as usual there are new cosmetics to be found within the patch files. Those new skins, gliders, pickaxes, and loading screens have been found by “TwoEpicBuddies” on Twitter, who is almost always the first to find them.

There are six new skins in the game files, at least that he has found so far. The first one looks like a female version of the epic Venturion skin released recently. That will likely be the same rarity and cost 1,500 V-Bucks. The second skin is obviously part of the superheroes theme, but looks unlike any of the skins revealed so far.

The two skins on the far right are sporting jerseys from the “Gliders” basketball team. Did they find fame on the Tilted Towers court before making it big? Let’s get some lore in here.

Finally are a pair of nefarious looking individuals sporting old-school criminal attire. They’re here to rob some treasure chests.

There’s a couple of basketball-themed items in here to go with the Gliders skins. The first two could be related to the black and white striped skins.

These new loading screens really are a tale of two halves. The first shows Carbide and Omega in full armor going to town on each other, while other heroes battle in the background. On the right hand side you’ll see the mysterious new hero skin with that plant-like pickaxe. The second loading screen has Valor and Omega enjoying a nice chat on set—way to break the fourth wall, Epic.
