On July 29, 2022, the North American star, who has a CS:GO Major to his name, announced he was “stepping away from competitive [CS:GO] and focusing on streaming.”

As a full-time streamer for Evil Geniuses, Stewie2K will now be playing both CS:GO and VALORANT. But he has still yet to completely rule out a return to competitive because his future “isn’t determined.” Although nothing has been confirmed at this time, rumors have suggested the move to streaming could be the start of a transition to VALORANT. But whether he will compete in the game remains to be seen.
