Cosplayers can submit a picture of themselves as one of Hearthstone’s hundreds of cards from now until July 27. For one lucky entrant, they will take home a one-of-a-kind Hearthstone prop—a replica of the legendary Mage weapon Aluneth.

Aluneth has a strong lore in World of Warcraft, having been added in the Legion expansion. It was wielded by Medivh’s mother Aegwynn, and is not to be confused with Medivh’s weapon Atiesh. Aluneth was added to Hearthstone in Kobolds and Catacombs, and has seen a lot of play in Mage decks ever since.

The winner of the competition doesn’t just get this incredible looking prop. They will also travel to gamescom in Germany, all on Blizzard’s dime of course, and represent the company on stage at the event. gamescom is one of the biggest gaming conventions around, so this is a huge opportunity.

At gamescom, the winner will take part in a specially filmed ceremony presenting them with Aluneth. No need to worry about hand luggage allowance—if you win, Blizzard will ship it to you after gamescom.

The bad news? The contest is being run by Blizzard Europe, so is only open to residents of some European countries. North American cosplayers will have to wait for their opportunity—perhaps winning this year’s cosplay contest at BlizzCon in November, a highlight of the event every year.
