Europe’s spring champion will be crowned at the Rotterdam Ahoy where the top four teams will battle for the title from April 16 to 17. The stadium, located in the city of the same name, seats nearly 16,000 people.

While the LCS itself remains grounded to studios in Santa Monica, Calif. for North America and Berlin for Europe, Riot began moving its playoff finals around different venues in each continent.

Last year, the Spring finals for Europe were held in Madrid, Spain, with the event moving to Stockholm, Sweden in the Summer. This will be the first time the LCS moves to the Netherlands, a country that has a rich League of Legends history.

Five players competing in the NA and EU LCS currently hail from that nation, including Fabian “Febiven” Diepstraten, mid laner from last year’s two-time champions, Fnatic. He may have a chance to win his third in a row in front of a home crowd if Fnatic fixes their slow 4-3 start, but there’s still a whole lot of season left before we head to Rotterdam.
