Fall was Fnatic’s first Hearthstone acquisition when it added him on July 27, 2014. The Swede had a successful run at Dreamhack Summer, progressing through the groups but falling in the quarterfinals. Since then, however, he has been unable to replicate that success on a bigger stage.

Milveden joined the team alongside Jökul “Kaldi” Jóhannsson on Sept. 5, 2014 and quickly picked up some victories, including a second place finish in the EIZO invitation in Dec 2014. As with Fall, however, he hasn’t been able to string together many strong performances since.

The players’ departure leaves Jóhannsson as the only member of the Fnatic Hearthstone roster. The Icelandic player is the most successful on the lineup and could be a foundation for rebuilding its Hearthstone team. Fnatic haven’ recently found success with major tournament victories from their European teams in both League of Legends and Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, achievements the Hearthstone team has failed to replicate.
