Hung Jury is back in Destiny 2, again! This reprised Destiny 1 scout rifle has made multiple reappearances in the sequel, first popping up as a Nightfall weapon in Season 14, then coming back with fresh perks in Season 20.

Now, it’s back again, this time as one of Lord Shaxx’s BRAVE arsenal of weapons in the Into the Light update, with an even further expanded perk pool and all new combinations when it comes to traits. Here are the PvE and PvP god rolls for Hung Jury SR4—both their Nightfall and BRAVE variants—in Destiny 2.

There are two versions of the Hung Jury SR4 in Destiny 2 following the release of Into The Light and the BRAVE reissue of past weapons thought lost to time. We’ve listed god rolls for each weapon below depending on its source.

Hung Jury PvE god roll

Perk OneRapid HitRapid Hit or Kinetic Tremors
Perk TwoFirefly or FrenzyFirefly or Desperate Measures
Origin TraitStunning RecoveryIndomitability

Both weapons roll with Rapid Hit and Firefly, which historically has been the best roll for the weapon following its reintroduction in Season 20. There are a few new perks added in Season 23’s BRAVE version, one of which is Kinetic Tremors in the first column as opposed to the second. Combining this with Firefly can create a double explosion after a kill, making the weapon brilliant for clearing adds.

Desperate Measures is another new perk added with the BRAVE variant. It grants Hung Jury a damage buff after kills, with a larger damage bonus when using grenades or melee abilities. Combined with Rapid Hit, it makes Hung Jury a more than capable primary weapon in builds surrounding these abilities—especially when including Indomitability, the new Origin Trait that provides ability energy based on your subclass.

The PvP god roll for Hung Jury is almost identical between the two weapon variants. No Distractions may be a better option with a lower stability roll, but I personally prefer Rapid Hit for that lightning-fast reload.

If you aren’t a fan of Box Breathing, give Frenzy (Nightfall) or Precision Instrument (BRAVE) a go instead. Both grant a weapon damage boost, but the BRAVE variant is much easier to proc as you’ll only need to land a kill, while Frenzy needs you constantly battling in order to keep the damage buff going.

As there are two variants of the scout rifle, there are two ways to obtain it depending on which Destiny 2 variant you want. The Vanguard version can be acquired by completing a weekly Nightfall that drops the Hung Jury; once you acquire one, you can focus Vanguard Engrams for a random rolled version at Zavala.

For those chasing the BRAVE variant, head to Arcite 99-40 at the Hall of Champions and pick up the Hung Jury quest, Jury Duty.

Complete the quest, and you’ll be able to earn additional drops while completing Into the Light activities and attune to the weapon for double-perk rewards.
