Fortnite: Battle Royale content creators, rejoice—Epic Games just introduced an in-game event that’s sure to make streamers and YouTubers very happy.
Epic announced the new Support-A-Creator event, which will allow content creators to earn money when their fans spend V-Bucks, Fortnite’s in-game currency.
The Support-A-Creator event begins with next week’s in-game update and will run through Dec. 31. Fans will simply need to go to the Item Shop and select “Support a Creator.” You’ll then enter your favorite content creator’s Epic tag, and that person will be rewarded each time you buy a skin or in-game item.
Once you pick a content creator, your support of them will last up to two weeks—but you can also switch to a different personality whenever you want.
Epic classifies content creators as “video makers, streamers, storytellers, artists, cosplayers, musicians, and community builders.” If you think you qualify, you can apply to become an official “Creator” here.
