ELEAGUE has partnered with Riot Games to create a TV special that looks to teach potential players how to play League of Legends.

The special, which will run for an hour, is set to premiere on TBS on Oct. 19. It will apparently provide an accessible and fun introduction into the world of League to reach out to new audiences that might be interested in the game but are unfamiliar with how it works.

The show coincides with the League World Championship, the biggest tournament of the year, which brings some of the best teams in the League esports scene together to find out who is the best.

League of Legends has a massive, global fan base and ELEAGUE welcomes this opportunity to both celebrate the game’s passionate community and provide additional opportunities to broaden its reach to a new audience,” Craig Barry, EVP & Chief Content Officer of Turner Sports, said in the press release. “ELEAGUE continues to expand its content experiences and overall portfolio through a collective of partnerships that showcase the biggest titles in esports and their unrivaled community of fans.”

The show will be co-hosted by Bil “Jump” Carter, an esports caster, and Kelsie “KayPea” Pelling, a League YouTuber currently sponsored by Fnatic. The duo will work together to celebrate the culture and history of the League scene while providing in-side knowledge into the game, explaining how it works and what new players need to know.
