After reaching level 50, players will be gradually introduced to more complex mechanics in Lost Ark, building up their way to high-end content.
A big part of reaching the end game is raids, and there are several kinds of them in the game’s Korean version. Some of them take days, or even weeks, to be completed for the first time, requiring significant time investment and effort.
Players will be introduced to Guardian Raids first and then to the Abyss Raid Argos in the Western version of the game. Legion Raids are even more difficult to clear. To help players in the process, there are several checkpoints to save your progress on the way.
Valtan was the first Legion Raid to join the Western version of Lost Ark. It was initially available in two versions, Normal and Hard. Clearing it requires “teamwork to understand and enact the strategy necessary to counter each Legion Commander’s unique characteristics, abilities, and mechanics,” according to the devs.
But now that most of the high-tier gear players have completed the Legion raid several times in the weeks following its release, the devs are raising the bar by introducing an even harder difficulty.
Valtan Legion Raid’s Inferno difficulty release date
The release date of Lost Ark’s Valtan Legion Raid’s Inferno difficulty is July 20. It’s being introduced alongside July’s major update.
The Raid will require an average item level of 1,445 to be challenged. In this difficulty, players will have to use the Book of Coordination, and won’t be able to stop the Raid halfway. Any mistake will result in defeat.
The Valtan Legion Raid, in Inferno difficulty, won’t be subject to a weekly limit. Completing it in Inferno difficulty will offer rewards to display players’ success, such as Achievements, titles, and Stronghold structures, rather than honing materials or gear.
The update will introduce much other content to discover, including the Arcanist advanced Mage class, Challenge Abyssal Dungeons, and summer events.
