Beware what lurks beneath the waves of Loot Lake. Sharks are here in Fortnite, now available in the in-game V-Bucks store.
The Discovery Channel’s week-long celebration of the monsters of the ocean kicked off last night, and Fortnite has gotten in on the spirit of the sea with a couple of paid cosmetics for you to shake a fin at.
The cosmetics include the Chomp Sr. outfit, which can be seen above. It’s just a man in a shark outfit, with some floppy fins on his feet. It comes with a shark fin back bling that can be equipped with any skin.
Also available is the Chomp Jr. harvesting tool, which is quite morbid. It features a little shark stabbed with a harpoon, and it makes some very fitting floppy and wet sound effects when you use it to break down materials.
Last but not least is the new On the Hook emote, which can also be seen above. It makes your player mock-fish with a cast, and reel in an invisible giant fish. It’s not the best emote that has been released.
The skin is on sale for 2,000 V-Bucks, and the pickaxe is available for 1,500 V-Bucks, while the emote costs 500 V-Bucks. The cosmetics should be available in the store until tonight at 7pm CT when new items cycle in.
