Xbox updated its image for Fortnite: Battle Royale on Wednesday evening, featuring three new character skins. Unfortunately for Xbox, the fifth season doesn’t kick off until July 12 at 3am CT, so they were just a tad bit early. The image was eventually taken down, but not before fans got their first look at the skins.

The image shows three characters in front of a hot pink background, with each skin much different from each other. Front and center seems to be a masked figure with a white, black, gold, and pink outfit. The character is holding a pink and white mask, which may be a new cosmetic item category. The mask appeared in the first of the three Season Five teaser images.

To the left of the center figure appears to be a modern-day soldier. Decked out in sand-colored fatigues, work gloves, a backward cap, and sunglasses, the character seems to be ripped right out of a contemporary American military unit.

The final character shown seems to be from a different time period than the others. The individual is wearing medieval armor and animal pelts with blue face paint, so it’s possible the figure is from nearly 1,000 years ago.

While there are obviously no details about these characters or the theme for season five, fans are certainly buzzing about all the cosmetics and storylines that may be heading for Fortnite: Battle Royale.

Players will likely know much more when the season arrives at 3am CT on Thursday, July 12.
