Rifts have been opening up at different locations on the Fortnite map over the past week since the rocket launched on June 30. The other portal locations include Lonely Lodge, Motel, Tomato Town, Retail Row, and Greasy Grove.

Roughly 24 hours after all of these portals appeared, the rifts seemingly became stronger, consuming or destroying signs or parts of a building in each of these locations.

The most recent portal found on the mountain between Greasy Grove and Snobby Shores, however, is unique in a few ways. This portal isn’t located near any buildings or structures—and this one introduced something to the Fortnite map instead of destroying an object.

This anchor leaves Fortnite players with even more questions, though. What does it mean, and why is it here? Could it be hinting at something coming to the game in season five?

Fortnite players will have to remain patient and wait to learn more about what all of these portals and rifts mean for the game’s future.
