The inclusion of FPP has been anticipated since the game’s entry onto the console about a month ago, and the wait is finally over. The mode has been added for North America, Europe, and Oceanic servers.

This isn’t the only gameplay feature in the new patch, though. It also included an increase to player weapon damage against vehicles, an in-game option to adjust aim acceleration, and an addition of analog stick acceleration when exiting the plane and while parachuting.

The update also featured a number of optimizations, including PhysX performance enhancements, an increase to server FPS, an increase to client FPS, and some slight VFX optimizations.

PUBG Corp addressed “a number of known crashes,” but there is still work to be done on that front.

“Given the complexity of some of the crashes that have been logged, we know there is still work remaining in order for us to reproduce and address all remaining issues,” community coordinator Hawkinz said in a forum post. “Crash fixes, like all areas of the game, will be something we continue to improve upon as part of our Xbox Game Preview roadmap.”

The patch was deployed early on Monday morning, and is available now for all players on Xbox.
