The game came out nearly three years ago, releasing worldwide on July 7, 2015. Its developer has consistently added new items and features on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. The game was recently ported over to the Nintendo Switch, bringing in a new influx of players that have helped the total player count rise significantly.

Rocket League recently got a physical release for all platforms in the form of a collector’s edition. The physical version comes with every previous-released DLC item alongside four exclusive vehicles based on DC Comics’ The Flash.

The physical version of the game is only available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at this time, with a Nintendo Switch version set to be released at a later date.

With the announcement, Psyonix has promised to lift the lid on season seven sometime this month.
