Rocket League’s winter event, Frosty Fest, is set to begin on Dec. 11, bringing a bunch of new items and crates to decorate your battle cars.
As you play games, players will unlock many things, including a form of in-game currency that can be used to purchase event-exclusive items, Decryptors, which are keys that are used to unlock crates, and an exclusive festive-themed crate that will only be available during Frosty Fest.
The Frosty Fest exclusive creates can also be found as a random drop after completing an online match or by purchasing them in the Rocket League in-game store.
Certain arenas like DFH and Utopia will also be getting a winter makeover, so prepare for things to be a bit more chillier than usual.
In an effort to make this event better than the last, Psyonix has listened to player feedback and will be increasing the amount of Decryptors that can be obtained. In the previous event, Haunted Hallows, many fans made suggestions on changes they wanted to see, and it looks like Psyonix has been listening.
Psyonix teased that more changes will be coming in the Frosty Fest announcement, but it didn’t go into detail on what players should expect to see.
The event ends on Jan. 2.
