That being said, there is a mini-live event happening on the island right now, with players able to see the damage caused by the Rift Gate, amounting to a giant red rift in the sky after completing quests.

This will likely remain in the sky for the remainder of the season after players manage to complete the Oathbound quests. This is probably the closest that players will get to a live event, with the giant red rift in the sky likely to be a major part of next season.
