There are many different versions of card advantage in Hearthstone—card draw, Discover, and copy effects (just to name a few). The latest card reveal takes the latter and adds a new spin to it.

Zola the Gorgon is a neutral Legendary minion that sends a golden copy of a friendly minion to your hand when it enters the battlefield. Revealed by the mayor of Value Town himself, Jeffery “TrumpSC” Shih, this minion replaces itself in your hand, ensuring you have a strong play the following turn.

Its three-mana cost makes Zola flexible in both aggressive and control strategies. Zola adds a second Prince Keleseth to Tempo Rogue. The card adds another copy of a late-game finisher in the control mirror.

The next expansion, Kobolds and Catacombs, releases sometime this December. A concrete release date has not yet been announced.

If you like what you’ve seen so far and can’t wait to deckbuild on release day, then take advantage of the pre-order card bundle: 50 packs and an exclusive card back for $49.99.
