Call of Duty: WWII’s Headquarters appears to be working normally for some

You may start seeing actual soldiers in your Headquarters now.

Feeling a little lonely in your Call of Duty: WWII Headquarters area? That might be changing soon, as players have reported that their Headquarters has been seeing several players inside. That’s a far cry from walking around alone in the expansive area.

The mode’s launch has been nothing short of rocky, and the area that’s supposed to support up to 48 players has been a veritable ghost town, locked to a single player only pretty much ever since the game launch. Some players found a few others populating their Headquarters, but couldn’t ever get to the full 48.

If you’ve been waiting for the game’s functionality to get a little closer to how it actually should be since launch, you might think about jumping online and seeing if your Headquarters has other players in it too . At time of writing, it doesn’t look like it’s working well, but there could be something of a staggered rollout happening with the changes.

The game was also awarding double XP inadvertently, which has since been resolved. If you thought you were earning a little too much experience or were moving forward at a pretty good clip, surprise! You were earning double XP.

Hopefully this is one of the last fixes that has to go through before this iteration of Call of Duty is as close.
