A well-known esports organization has returned to the competitive Call of Duty scene by signing a roster of several former professional players.
Emmanuel “Pikachu” Correia, Ben “Domo” Shives, Matthew “Mpaac” Ball, and Jordan “Forgiven” McDuffie have joined Team JusTus, the organization announced earlier today.
Team JusTus was a part of the Call of Duty scene from 2013 to 2015. Several well-known players competed for JusTus, including Sam “Octane” Larew, Ian “Enable” Wyatt, Joe “MerK” DeLuca, and many others.
The organization last competed at the MLG World Finals in October 2015, with a lineup that featured Adam “Assault” Garcia and Michael “SpaceLy” Schmale. JusTus placed top six at this event.
Pikachu, Domo, and Mpaac are most well-known for coming in second place with Force at MLG Columbus in June 2011. These players seemingly disappeared from the competitive Call of Duty scene after 2011—Pikachu attempted to make a brief comeback in 2015—but they want to try to compete once again in WWII.

Forgiven, on the other hand, first became involved with the competitive scene in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, according to Pikachu.
“[Forgiven] was one of the better amateurs at that time before taking a break from CoD after Black Ops,” Pikachu told Dot Esports. “He just recently came back last year and quickly reestablished himself back in the CoD community. He has shown promise to be a major factor this upcoming year, and we expect big things from him.”
These players and Team JusTus both share the common theme of returning to Call of Duty—and Pikachu can’t wait to start competing once again.
“We’re beyond excited to begin this journey with JusTus as we both make this move back into Call of Duty,” Pikachu said. “JusTus, as well as my team, have the same goal in mind and that’s to be the last team standing at the end of the year. To have an organization like JusTus trust and put their faith in us to reestablish their name among the elite organizations again is a blessing.”
Team JusTus will make its official return to the scene at the first event of Call of Duty: WWII—the 2018 CWL Dallas Open on Dec. 8 to 10.
