100 Thieves has signed a third Apex Legends player in as many days, recruiting Isiaih “Lifted” to its ranks.
A former professional H1Z1 player, Lifted is “currently in the top 10 for kills” in Apex Legends according to 100 Thieves’ announcement.
On Feb. 25, the organisation added Connor “Gigz” White as its first player in Respawn’s battle royale title. The following day, another former H1Z1 competitor known as “Teenage” was also signed to the roster.
Promoting Lifted’s first stream under the brand, 100 Thieves shared a clip of its new recruit making plays as offensive character Bangalore.
100 Thieves has also been aggressively building up its pool of competitors for Fortnite, bringing in four new players to compete under its banner. This is understandable considering Epic Games’ World Cup announcement with $30 million up for grabs.
Respawn Entertainment is yet to detail any sort of plans for Apex Legends to have its own esports scene, instead the community is currently driving the competition. Tournaments such as Twitch Rivals and Code Red are allowing top players and popular streamers to showcase their skills on the title, though.
