Aberration is the fourth map added to Ark Survival Ascended and provides plenty of new creatures alongside additional environmental challenges. However, the hardest battles occur on the surface, an area filled with danger.

Risk is worth it for the rewards, but there are only a few specific spots for you to reach the surface. We’ve listed them all alongside their coordinates below.

There are five surface entrances on Aberration in Ark Survival Ascended. The coordinates for each of the surface entrances are below:

  • Northwest Entrance: Lat 22.9, Long 23.2
  • North Eastern Green Entrance: Lat 32.0, Long 71.3
  • North Eastern Blue Entrance: Lat 46.9, Long 89.1
  • South West Green Entrance: Lat 64.7, Long 33.1
  • South West Red Entrance: Lat 88.5, Long 30.7

Each Surface Entrance on Aberration comes with various challenges, ranging from huge cliff faces that require a Zipline or a Rock Drake to climb to poisonous Mushroom Spores that will mess with your vision.

The biggest dangers, however, come when you reach the surface due to the scorching temperatures that make it impossible to explore during the day and the Reaper King who will hunt you down—so I only recommend heading to the surface when you have progressed enough on Aberration.

Resources found on the surface include Crystal, Metal, Oil, Element Ore, and Obsidian, while you can expect to find Nameless, Seeker, and the Reaper King as creatures that spawn.
