It appears that the point system for Gridiron will be different from Uplinkand will closely resemble the way points are scored in American football.

In Uplink, a player was awarded one point for throwing the drone into the portal, and two points for carrying or dunking the drone into the portal. In Gridiron, however, it appears that players will get seven points for a carry or dunk, and three points for a throwsimilar to the points awarded for a touchdown and field goal in American football.

This point system hasn’t been confirmed by Activision or Sledgehammer Games, but BigshotWrinkles said that these rules haven’t been altered or edited.

If this is the official point system of Gridiron, Call of Duty players will have to get adjusted to the new rules. We’ll know for sure if these are the official rules of Gridiron when Call of Duty: WWII is released on Nov. 3.
