Seth “Scump” Abner, Matthew “FormaL” Piper, Damon “Karma” Barlow, and Ian “Crimsix” Porter won last week’s NA CWL 2K tournament, also defeating Luminosity in the grand finals.

This week’s NA CWL 2K tournament started at 12pm ET on Sunday, Nov. 19—but as the online event dragged on, MLG chose to postpone the semifinals until Monday night at 9pm ET.

In these semifinal matches, OpTic swept Team Envy, while Luminosity defeated Team Kaliber 3-1. In a rematch of last week’s grand finals, OpTic started the series with an impressive comeback on Ardennes Forest Hardpoint. From there, OpTic kept control of the matchup to win back-to-back NA CWL 2Ks—the first two 2K tournaments for WWII.

With these 2K victories, OpTic are in a great position in terms of CWL pro points—which means they’ll almost definitely be in pool play for the CWL Dallas Open in December.

Another NA CWL 2K will be held next Sunday, Nov. 26—and this one will also be crucial for all of the other teams trying to earn more pro points ahead of CWL Dallas.
